Rising naturally from the lower edge, the stems create the feeling of a meadow captured in a single moment—tall flower spires, open blooms, delicate seed heads, and finely textured foliage all held together in quiet balance.
Each fresh botanical was carefully arranged and pressed into stoneware clay before being cast by hand in gypsum. The result is both a sculptural herbarium and a lasting record of flowers that would otherwise be fleeting.
