My name is

Jocelyn and I am by nature, a contemplative person. Sometimes I think too much. I rarely think too little. The only time I don’t think at all is when I am creating. I call my bedroom my studio - my favorite window in our home is there and looks across the vast desert landscape. I watch the birds and wildlife come and go while I create my still life scenes and plaster art. Here is where I completely feel like myself.

My children are my biggest inspiration and gift in my life. My family and I live in the small town of Carefree, Arizona - a very small village just far enough away from Phoenix to feel like we are free to roam.

My life has taken me all over the world. I have lived in England and Germany and my background is in interior design. Traveling throughout the world from Asia to Europe and Australia my desire to learn and explore has only increased as I get older.

France is very big inspiration to me. I travel there multiple times a year to immerse myself in the culture and source vintage and antique frames for my plasters as well as textiles for the handmade bags each plaster is shipped in.

Living the contemplative life lead me to my work today, and for that, I am grateful.
