Only One
Within my creative process there are certain pieces that hold a space in my mind for a long time.
When I come across a pocket of time where the wildflowers are perfect for picking, the clay is ready, and my space is clear with enough time, I make a piece I never want to let go of.
This I call The Only One.
Naturally, all of my pieces are one of a kind. I want this to stay this way forever because there is only ever one flower after all.
I will be making pieces that I share here and they will be available once they are completed, organically and in the natural rhythm of the season.
Notes from the table, new pieces before anyone else, and a practice to hold now and then.
